Getting Fit

I recently got my health check result back, and to no surprise they said I was too fat. So in an effort to shape up I picked up Wii Fit Plus.

It’s pretty fun for a game that’s basically just exercises. Hell it’s probably the only way I could be tricked into doing exercise. In just one week doing it for only 30 minutes a day, and doing a bit of mild dieting, I’ve managed to shed just over two kilos. So far so good!

  1. I wasn’t able to keep up my Wii Fit routine last year and kind of fizzled. Maybe a new game like the Olympics would help me get back into it.

    dude, you need to start cycling or hiking or something, I don’t think Wii fit will help that much in the long run.

    Hey Eric:

    Erika is crazy about the Wii fit. We haven’t missed a day in over 9 weeks, and only then because we went away. Keith is right, if you want to see some serious results you’ll need to start biking or something.

    I also started the dieting and exercise thing and lost 30lbs since Nov.

    I also started this dieting program but I know you love your food too much to give up meals twice a day for shakes.

  6. It’s true that walking/cycling/running/etc is optimal, but anything that gets your heart rate up is good for you. Personally I’ve never played Wii Fit, but I’ve heard good things about it. At any rate, it’s a lot better than nothing. 2 kgs in one week is nothing to scoff at, either.

  9. Whoa 2 kgs ? Just using Wii Fit, thats good ..ive heard good reviews of Wii Fit but I never got to buy this thing at all however im trying to keep up with my fitness myself too i sort of had a wake up call or shall i say a reminder when a nightmare came on to me of my gallstone and gallbladder haunting me *eeps* Keep it if you can lose 2 kg im sure you can lose more Wii Fit still does make you work out by the end of the day anyway and if you’re sweating and feeling all the pain you know its working🙂 I would love to know Kurisu’s diet plan of shakes tho .. Im heading back to my low fat hi fibre diet again which i remembered my surgeon made go through after recovery. Keep us posted on your WII Fitness🙂
