Edamame Pretz

Here’s a little something I got while we were in Yamagata. It’s Edamame flavored Pretz. It turns out that the Tohoku (northern) area of Japan, especially Yamagata and Miyagi, are famous for edamame.

That’s why we get our own special version of pretz. We’re lucky because it was really delicious!

  1. Last weekend I got Zunda Kit-Kats and Zunda senbei. They were a hit with the family.

  2. I got them in Sendai Station on the 1st Floor near the post office/Starbucks and next to Bearded Pappa’s.

  3. I’ve never seen ‘zunda’ snacks in Kansai.
I’ve had ‘zunda mochi’ that was a souvenir by someone, and it was so yummy!
