Italian Mac

Here’s the new McDonald item for this month it’s a relatively simple, but ultimately delicious, Italian Chicken Filet-O. I remember Burger King in Canada had a similar sandwich a few years ago. Mostly it’s just chicken parmesan in a bun. How could it go wrong.

I’ve had it a couple times now, and I like it very much. It’s kind of funny that the “filet-o” was taken from “Filet-O Fish”, but used in a completely wrong way. Strange, but interesting!

  1. McDonalds in Japan often has special promotion sandwiches. Some of them are quite good.

BTW, have you ever tried First Kitchen, MOS Burger, Lotteria, or Freshness Burger in Japan? (Freshness Burger has beer on the menu! 🙂 )

  2. I have tried MOS Burger, Freshness Burger, and Lotteria. I’ve never heard of First Kitchen. I don’t know if they have it in Sendai. I didn’t realize that Freshness Buger had beer. I always have to drive after so I can’t have any though. 😦 My favorite is the Lotteria cheese burger, which I posted about here

Yeah, the selection of fast food restaurants in Sendai is nothing compared to Tokyo. I really miss Wendy’s.

Not only fast-food. Tokyo has more restaurants than any other city in the world. I’m spoiled living here! 😉

  5. I miss Greek food and Sri-Lankan food! I would kill for some gyro.

  6. Do you like that alot?
There are small trucks all over Tokyo that sell Gyros. I’ve tried them a couple of times…pretty good.

You should come to Tokyo. You can find any food you want here.

  7. I miss a lot of food that was easy to get in Canada. Next time I visit Tokyo I will hunt down a gyro for sure.
