This is the hardest day to be away from Canada. I miss the crowds, the parties, and just everything in general about Canada. So I send 142nd birthday wishes to the greatest country in the world, Canada! I hope I can come and visit you soon.
Canada has so much more stuff that Japan. Japan needs to get more international and fast. They need to stop doing things the old way and catch up with the world. I don’t mean old traditions, I mean ways of working and attitudes. Too much wasted time pushing paper and taking useless meetings.
I’ll give it to you on customer service, but there is no way Japan has the best food. It’s good for only Japanese food, the other types of food are severely lacking.
Actually, I saw a poll that Time magazine recently did where they asked people in 27 countries to rate other countries (they couldn’t vote for their own).
Japan and Canada were tied for best country. 54% of the people polled rated them the best.
(The worst are, according to that poll, Israel, Iran, USA, North Korea and Russia (in that order)).
I'm originally from Canada, but now live in Japan. I like games, strange things, and trying new foods. I hope you enjoy reading my semi-interesting posts and pictures.
I hear ya Bro!!
I can safely confirm Canada > Japan. No contest.
In what way?

Well, Japan must be doing something right.
Safe and clean country with the best customer service and best products and foods!

Well, in Tokyo, at least, there are more restaurants than any other city in the world…including all types of world cuisine.
And they have excellent food. In fact, Tokyo has had the most “Michelin star” restaurants for two years:

But anyways…I guess you are better able to compare Canada to Japan than I am. I’ve only visited Canada once…to see Niagara Falls.
Niagara Fall is not normal Canada for sure.
Perhaps it’s easy to forget:

Oh I didn’t forget. I will never visit during winter.

You would think USA and Russia would be far above Iran and North Korea. Who wants to live there.
Actually, they are ahead of Iran, and Russia is also ahead of N. Korea…but the fact that America is on the worst list at all says alot.
